In this lesson, I’ll go over everything you need to know to set up your charts correctly. Once you get the charts set up, you will have all the information you need to be able to glance at the chart and let you know if the stock should be bought, sold, or just left alone.
Lesson 3: How To Recognize And Master The Handful Of Crucial Stock Chart Signals You Need To Know
The stock chart signals and method we use is based on a system developed over 400 years ago by Japanese rice farmers. The family that perfected the system used it to trade rice – and became legendarily wealthy in their day! Think Bill Gates style wealth.
The system was brought over to the West in the 1970's. It languished for years, since not too many people could understand it and use it correctly.
But with the advent of more and more powerful computers, this charting system, known as Japanese Candlesticks (the symbols look like little candlesticks) became more mainstream.
The entire system is still very complex, with around 47 basic symbols and around 140 variations. But over the past four years, I've mentored with a candlestick genius, who perfected a system using only a handful of the symbols.
