A wild day in the market today, but it ended up fairly well...

The market skyrocketed, then tanked, then bounced back big... and that was just in the first hour and a half of trading!

It was a wild ride for the rest of the day too, but the markets ended up in the green for the most part.

AMZN was one of the bright stars of the day with its amazing 24.45% blast to the upside on a blowout earnings report. And AAPL reported big earnings after hours tonight, so tomorrow should be another exciting day in the market.

I'm seeing tons of great stocks that are now in oversold areas, with lots of potential bottoming candlestick patterns as well. Another reason tomorrow could be interesting.

Not much joy in the market today if you were long...

The market was absolutely brutal on Tuesday - no way to sugarcoat it.

With the Dow down over 226 points and the NASDAQ down over 50, there were just a handful of exciting charts on the long side today.

There's just no telling what you'll discover in the market each day...

I run lots of software scans to find the strongest performing stocks in the market each and every day. Once you learn what to look for, when you see an especially exciting stock chart, it can take your breath away.

I found one of those today.

The stock is OPK - Opko Health Inc. I had never heard of the company, but the chart looked exceptional. The candle was already large-bodied and volume was strong when I found it - and the stock was up about 14% for the day at that time. OPK ended the day up 20.3%.

But then I zoomed out on the chart to get a longer-term perspective. I found that the stock was a 6-bagger (up 600%) from January to mid-April! At that point, I wondered how in the world I missed such a strong performer.

I found out within minutes via my Mastermind Group. The stock had recently moved to the American Stock Exchange from the OTC:BB, where it traded under the symbol EXEG.

Will OPK now make another 600% move now that is had more exposure on the Amex? Only time will tell, but today's pop means something. And a member of my Mastermind Group tells me company insiders are buying.
