Can you believe it's November already?

Seems like just yesterday it was summer. Man, time is really flying by.

But we're in November now, and you know what that means, don't you?

It's Turkey Time!

Yes, in just two short weeks we celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S. And we're talking turkey! And dressing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, sweet potato casserole, rolls, broccoli salad, and maybe even some pecan and/or pumpkin pie for dessert. Speaking of turkeys, here's a photo of some that show up in my neighbor's yard on a daily basis. I swear the first time I saw them was on Thanksgiving Day a few years ago. (I've heard rumors that they aren't very smart ;)

Last Thanks giving I heard a strange noise on my roof and went outside and noticed a turkey had flown up on my roof and was prancing around (pretty weird, huh?). That had never happened before. Weirder yet was when I went to my brother's house later in the day, and a neighborhood turkey flew up on his house as we were driving into the driveway. Hey, what are the odds??

Anyway, all this talk about turkeys led me to an idea of another fun “contest” we can have.

Because of the excellent response to last month's Halloween contest and the fact that we had a ton of people who missed out on it for one reason or another, we've decided to go ahead and hold a new contest with a Thanksgiving theme.

We've decided to have a good, old-fashioned “Turkey Shoot.”

But don't worry, no turkeys will be physically harmed during this contest.

Here's how it will work…

Paul and I are going to send out 5 trades in the next few days that we think have the potential for dramatic gains in just a few days time. Now, this is all in a day's work in our stock trading club and we feel pretty confident that - market conditions willing - a majority of these trades will perform.

So what we are going to do is to give ourselves a little performance pressure to make sure we post only the top short-term plays and put our money where our mouth is. And to make this even more fun – and potentially profitable for the participants - we are going to combine this with an upcoming product promo.

The price will be based on the following:
